Service Disruption Notice – Delayed Curbside Garbage Collection

The Township of North Kawartha has been advised by Waste Connections of Canada that due to a vehicle breakdown, curbside garbage collection on several roads has been delayed and will now be collected on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, instead of Monday, July 6, 2026. To check if your curbside collection has been impacted, please reference the following news item:

You can use Elections Ontario’s Voter Registration service online tool that allows eligible Ontario electors to confirm, update, add or remove their voter information for Ontario provincial and local elections, including elections for municipal Council Members and School Board Trustees. 

The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) remains responsible for collecting information about school support. To update your school support information, visit MPAC’s online School Support tool.
