  • The North Kawartha Public Library provides free access to Ancestry Library Edition on our public workstations at both branches. 
  • You must be in the Library using one of our workstations in order to access Ancestry. It is not available from home or on the wifi network. 
  • Standard printing charges apply when printing ancestry records. 
  • There is a selection of local history books available at the Library.
  • The Burleigh Road Historical Society works in partnership with the North Kawartha Library and has a selection of materials as well.

The North Kawartha Library with respect and gratitude acknowledge we stand on the traditional, ancestral and treaty lands of the Treaty 20 Michi Saagiig territory and in the traditional territory of the Michi Saagiig and Chippewa Nations, collectively known as the Williams Treaties First Nations, which include: Curve Lake, Hiawatha, Alderville, Scugog Island, Rama, Beausoleil and Georgina Island First Nations.
