North Kawartha Public Library
The North Kawartha Public Library collection has many history books on local townships within Peterborough County and also on some townships in neighbouring counties.
For example, we have books about: Coe Hill, Lakefield, Havelock, Harvey, Douro, Belleville, Bancroft and many more.
Burleigh Road Historical Society
The Burleigh Road Historical Society collection is housed in the North Kawartha Public Library Boardroom. The collection includes: files, historical books, individual documents, CDs, photographs and many other artifacts. To use this collection for research you need to make an appointment with a Society member.
