You can use Elections Ontario’s Voter Registration service online tool that allows eligible Ontario electors to confirm, update, add or remove their voter information for Ontario provincial and local elections, including elections for municipal Council Members and School Board Trustees.
The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) remains responsible for collecting information about school support. To update your school support information, visit MPAC’s online School Support tool.

Due to the warmer temperatures over the weekend, some private roads within the Township of North Kawartha have become very icy or muddy, making curbside garbage and recycling collection difficult to perform safely today.
If your garbage or recycling has not been collected by 6:00 p.m. today (Monday, March 16, 2026), residents are asked to please bring their materials back from the curbside.
Emterra and Waste Connections will be recording roads or addresses that could not be serviced today and will be collecting double garbage and recycling on the next scheduled collection date on Monday, March 16, 2026.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as Waste Connections and Emterra work to complete curbside collection safely.
Please be advised that due to curbside garbage truck equipment failure this afternoon, curbside garbage collection on Hwy. 504, McCauley’s Rd. and Hwy. 28 has been delayed, will take place tomorrow morning (Tuesday March 17, 2026).
